Ooops!....you'll probably have to remove the back of the desk to get at the tambour..the backs are usually nailed or screwed on.The tambour rides in a track and you should be able to see how it's held in the track...if the company sent you a new tambour they should also be able to advise you as to how to replace it....some times the upper section of the desk has to be seperated from the base to facilitate the replacement...it depends on how they manufactured the tracks- Best of luck
