In Response To: Antique Safes, Useful General Information (Ken Dunckel Safecracker-Boxman)

I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO GET A REAL ANSWER TO THIS UNTIL I MEASURE MY SAFE. MY GRANDFATHER GOT THIS SAFE THROUGH A BANK, I BELIEVE IN THE 1040'S. IT IS A FULL SIZE BANK SAFE, DOUBLE DOOR OPENING WITH A DOUBLE DOOR OPENING ON THE INSIDE AS WELL.MY GUESS IS 6'?" BY 5' BY 3'. I HATE PARTING WITH IT, BUT THE TIMES ARE DEMANDING IT. IT COST ME OVER $1000 TO MOVE IT IN 2001 AND THE PEOPLE WHO MOVED IT SAID TO PLEASE CALL THEM IF I WERE TO EVER SELL. I JUST NEED TO KNOW WHAT I'M DOING BEFORE I RELEASE SOMETHING THAT MEANS ALOT TO ME.

THANKS SUE MCINERNEY
