In Response To: Restoring an old dresser (Leo)

You can restore it. Its really pretty simple. Wipe it down with mineral spirits (paint thinner). When it dries wash it again with a solution of tsp being careful not to get it too wet. This should clean it pretty well. Then get some furniture wax (Minwax has a good one), and wax it. Buff it with 0000 steel wool and see how it looks. Yopu should like it. Roger
