how can I lengthen legs on a table ?

I have a beautiful yellow wood table with stinkwood legs that was cut down from a kitchen table into a coffee table. The legs are square at the top and 2 1/4" diameter round at the cut.The pieces removed are no longer available. How can I return the table to the original height ?
