If you see or smell any mold or mildew, you might want to try a Lysol liquid or Pinesol solution, instead of soap...usually any visible mold will be a whitish powdery looking substance, and tends to grow on the unfuninshed surfaces like bottoms of tops, and backs, drawer bottoms, sides, etc. on those areas, a wipe with alcohol will also help kill spores, just remember not to wipe the finish with the alcohol if not sure what it is.
