Stain in Oak table top

Refinishing an Oak drop leaf table. Everything looks great except a 3" circular blue/black stain in the center of the top. The wood is bare and raw and looks very nice except for that stain. I have tried: Salt and lemmon juice..no help. Household bleach...no help . 2 part commercial bleach..no help.Thinking it might be oil/grease I applie MEK....no help. If this is not a wine stain could it be a stain from rust ? If so, what can I use to remove that type of stain ?
