rebuilding an antique piano stool - style problem

I would like to re-build the backrest to my antique piano stool. It's the typical round mahogany 'late victorian' style I believe. It has the brass claw with glass ball feet. The backs I've seen on these stools are uninspiring to down right ugly. I would like to build a back in mahogany but keeping with that era and particular style. What I would really like is to have a lyre back that is similar to some music rests/desks on grand pianos. So far I have not seen the combination glass ball and claw feet with a lyre back. Is there anyone out there that can show me a similar combination that I can design from? I need some direction, please. Thanks
