ANTIQUE FURNITURE RESTORATION DISCUSSION BOARD

I own an upholstery business and my son was helping strip a wingback chair when it fell over and the back leg broke in two. Can you tell me the best way to repair the leg? I have read several posts here about different types of glue and gluing methods, including using a dowel. I have no experience in the area of furniture repairs, but I believe I could fix it if I had someone tell me how to do it. I want this to look like it has never been broken. Should I take it to an expert and forget the repairs myself? If so, can you help me find one in the Savannah, GA area? Thank you for your help!
