Good afternoon Board Friends,

I just came into posession of a grinding wheel of the type used on farms. It is large (approx 20 to 24 inches across the diameter) and is in great shape. It has a metal rod going through the center of the stone for mounting on a frame. On one side of the stone and attached to the rod is a large pulley wheel for turning the stone when sharpening something. I am looking for a picture of one mounted on a frame so that I can make a frame or better still, would be a set of plans or a paragraph on how to make the frame and make it into an operational and functioning grinding wheel. If you have any suggestions or guidance, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for all your help and please respond to my e-mail address.

Don
