ANTIQUE FURNITURE RESTORATION DISCUSSION BOARD

cedar wardrobe

I have an old cedar wardrobe and the hinges have been replaced at some time. I would like to replace them with originals or something close. This wardrobe is probably from the 50's and was a inexpensive solution to no closets. The hinges looked like maple leafs on the front of the doors and a bar on the sides. Judging from the door pulls and lock holes, I'd say the hinges must have been antique bronze in color. You've probably seen hundreds of this type of cedar stuff with the raw exposed [cheap] type cedar look. Any help out there? Thx, Vic
