I looked at the chairs and I think that they are white oak, I didn't see any open canal type areas that red oak has. This poses another problem, I don't know of any suppliers that carry white oak in the area. Is there a way that I could patch the chair and replace a few spindles in the back with red oak and still get the woods to match?
