Water mark on wood humidor

Hi - I'm new to all this so forgive my lack of knowledge. You seem to know a lot here!

I have a really terrific Davidoff humidor which is perfect but for the fact that someone put a wet ashtray on it and it looks like this bleached or washed out the stain in the wood in the shape of the ashtray. The humidor is not heavily glossy or anything (unlike other modern humidors which are very glossy - this one isn't) - just nice clean wood.

Is there a way to feed the wood or darken the stain without refinishing the whole thing? I can send a photo if anyone has the time to look at it!

Best, Andrew
