Hi, We recently came across a Spool Cabinet with a Coats label on the back. I believe it's oak. It has its original black material on the top, frayed/torn at the edges, a slice in the wood on the top frame, and is missing most of its pulls. I have a few questions, if I may. - Should we replace or repair the material top? - Should we repair the slice/crack in the top frame - and, if so, how? - Where to get appropriate pulls to go with the style of this (early 1900s, I believe) - What kind of finish did these have, and how to restore it - or should we? (The finish itself is not bad - just dirty.) Thank you in advance for helping - this is a great service you provide! Nancy
