I have a hoosier/bakers cabinet from my grandma - mid-late 1920's. The work surface looks like the back of linoleum flooring! It is dark burnt red in color and is not shiny - very flat - and has some darker shadeing. The cabinet is mostly wood with the lower two doors made of some type of pressboard (or so it appears) The work surface is trimed in aluminum - or some other silver colored metal with no rust. It has been in her home since the 20's but unfortunately she isn't with us any longer to ask questions! The cabinet is marked woth 2142 MR on the back. Unfortunately you can see where a tag was, but it is now gone! We want to use the cabinet. but need to know what do with the worksurface. Thanks
