In Response To: Restoring Colour To Faded Rosewood (colin sim)

If the finish is still intact then cleaning with a lemon oil product will reveal the true color that is possible to restore, a coat of paste wax will bring the color back and hold it. If no color returns you will need to strip off the old finish. After stripping you will need to sand with 180 grit and a sanding block to bring out the original color. Lastly you will need to finish with lacquer (Deft) and hopefully the other speaker will now match, but be prepared to refinish both as they may not match now any way.
