ANTIQUE FURNITURE RESTORATION DISCUSSION BOARD

1950 Kitchen table - needs feet

I have the classic formica topped table whose feet need to be replaced. They are made from a hard plastic and are fitted to be set within the tubes that are the legs. The outer part is angled so that it will sit flush on the floor.

Been looking for replacements for months now, tried making them out of wood with little luck.

Any ideas? Was thinking of trying to make a mold, but would frankly rather just buy replacements. Molding means trial and error - what material? what shrinkage?

thanks much!
