Hello all,

My grandmother's piano stool t-bar broke in two places from our kid's constant abuse all these years. We want to hand it down to the next set of kids in the family in the best shape possible. Should we replace the part instead of welding it? I called it a t-bar for lack of an educated guess as to what to call it. The piece of hardware is screwed to the seat(that part broke in two places) and has the treaded poll that feeds into the base. The female part also came out of the base. How do I reattach the female casing? Glue? Can I just buy the male treaded shaft without the female casing? How much? Thanks for your advice. Carlene
