I have been using plaster of paris to make a mold, don't forget a release agent. Then I put Quick Wood E poxy filler into the plaster mold, then I remove the new piece and trim and glue onto the frame, and repaint. Most hobby stores and the Van Dykes.com have Quick Wood.
