|I am well into stripping my Canadian Hoosier cabinet, which appears to be solid oak underneat the hideous green paint my uncle put on it 50 years ago.

I'm trying to decide what sort of finish to put over the stain once I'm ready. I've just been looking at a Minwas Paste Varnish, and am wondering if anyone has had experience with it? How well does it go on? I'm far from a pro, so anything that doesn't involve worrying about dust and brush marks looks good to me.

How about Tung oil as another option? This piece won't get a whole lot of use, but I want something i don't have to reapply too often.

All opinions welcomed!! thanks Sandy
