In Response To: Removal of Butter Milk Paint (CWB)

No to my knolege can you remove on coat, on such a large piece, and leave the other coat without messing it up a little. I use household ammonia to remove milk paint, after a little loosening of the top layer you may be able to leave some of the first coat in place and reliquify it after all the stripping is done. Turn the piece so the side you intend to work on is level. Reliquify the first coat with a brush and more ammonia, brush it out even if you are very gifted and fearless this will work and you will owe me one.
