Wood Pests in an antique dining table

I have encountered small holes in my dining table with saw dust on the chairs below the holes. To my dismay, I am positive that some creators are distroying my dining table. This table was purchased several years ago from a reputable antique dealer located in Baton Rouge LA. The piece came off of a shipment that had just been received from France. I noticed holes appearing several years ago and when I talked to the dealer they did not want to take any responsibility. The holes seemed to stop coming so I thought that maybe the finish was settling into the worm holes that were in the piece when I purchased it. However, the buggers are back and they definately are bugs boring into the piece. Help what do I do to solve this problem. I had other wood pieces in this room not to mention a wooden floor.
