In Response To: spots on a cedar chest (leon)

I have seen these spots show up when water and metal are present while the rinse water dries after stripping. I have used Oxalic Acid to remove the stains. I always try to strip Cedar with a mild hand applied stripper, since MC stripper will stain the interior of a Cedar chest. Therefore I havn't seen this happen for a long time, but I recall that Cedar did pick up some spots. I would try Acetone if the Oxalic dosen't work. Or sand the stains out if you can.
