Depending on the damage a good cleaning with soap and water folowed by a cleaning with mineral spirits should clean the surface enough to work with. If the damage to the finish is not to bare wood try useing touch up markers. You can get them from many sources. but I like the ones made by Masters Magic. ONce you have touched up the color, coat with clear lacquer then buff with 0000 steel wool to match the sheen on the rest of the tables.
