In Response To: split legs on teak Cherner chairs (Glenna Thompson)

I use Epoxy to repair wood splits, for stregnth, but not for glue joints since Epoxy will not come apart, ever. The glide splitting the leg is rare, the wood may be easily split. Find a glide that has no nail to it, and keep an eye on the others.
