ANTIQUE FURNITURE RESTORATION DISCUSSION BOARD

Matching Stickley Stain Color

Does anyone have a recipe for approximating the brown/green oak stain "look" made famous by Gustav Stickley? I've read that he achieved his color through a complex process, using a curing room and all sorts of chemicals. I was hoping for something a little easier and more straightforward.

Thanks in advance,
