In Response To: repair broken wicker doll's cradle (Grace Hatton)

the pieces which are broken will probably have to be replaced for most of their length. You can slide new pieces in beside the old ones and bent them tin to fit. Generally this is the only way to repair ribs since they are under tension trying to repair the breaks doesn't work.
