Yes, we had 'em, and boy, did we have 'em! The good news is that we only had the pieces for a couple of months before fumigating. Also, in S. Fla. where we live, we use soft woods like pine and cedar for building, and it is usually pressure-treated and then treated for termites before the house is completed. The exterminators all assured us that the critters prefer to enter hardwoods, usually the same kind of wood they were bred in. Our only concern is a mahogany antique Steinway grand piano maybe 15 ft. from the infested furniture; we will be watching that. The other wooden furniture in the room is cypress, so it should be safe.

We rented a 5x5x8 ft. trailer, put the pieces in it propped up on 2x4's with all the doors open and the drawers out, but in the trailer. The trailer is to be sealed (tented), then filled with methyl bromide gas today. It will then be left in the driveway (a good 20 feet from the house) for about 3 days. The experts (3 exterminators and several different websites)say that should kill eggs, larvae and adults alike, for good. Wish us luck!
