Problem with Duncan Phyfe

I recently purchased a 1920's Duncan Phyfe dining room set that is in need of refinishing and repair. As I will not have time to restore the finish before Christmas Dinner (which we are hosting this year) I will just have to conceal the blemishes with a tablecloth. However, the table has two leaves that drop down and must be repaired immediately. The hinges are so old that the leaves are no longer level with the center pieces of the table. Also, if you lean on either one they sink even lower. It is as if the entire table needs to be refastened so it won't wobble, creak or lean. Can anyone PLEASE help me with my dilema soon? Thank you ever so much! Kim
