In Response To: Cedar Chest (Kathy)

Sanding the inside lightly with 220 grit paper will release more of the cedar scent. If the finish on the outside is in good shape wash it with mild soap and water, do not soak it just dampen rinse and wipe dry then apply a coat of paste wax. If there are dull spots in the finish you can polish them with 0000 steel wool.
