Minwax Provincial looks good on tiger oak it high lights the tiger. The finish depends on what facilities you have for application. If you can spray then a precatalyzed lacquer in semi gloss would work well. If you do not have sparf wquipment Minwax Antique Oil is a good choice. With either one put on 3 coats and let dry then sand lightly with 320 grit wet/dry paper. Keep building finish with this pattern until you get the build you want then sand with 320 using water as a lube then sand with 600 then polish with 0000 steel wool.
