Thank you. That has helped a bit. The "white" I was refereing to on the legs, is actual wood....its where the legs have gotten beat up over the years. I suppose the stain sticks will work?

HAve you heard of Dr. Woodwell Wood Elixir product? (http://www.drwoodwell.com) Have any yeahs or nays opinions on this. IT sounds versatile.

Last advice bit on same furniture: The Brass pulls, handles, and hinges, and Table-feet covers. Was told they were brass, but not sure if that means they were polished brass, an anitgue finish, etc. However, they are tarnished black now. I have plenty of experience shining brass from my days in the military, but never started with something this black. Any suggestions?

Randy
