Last things first. The only leagal definition of an antique is the one use by U.S. Customs which is anything 100yrs. or older. It sounds like you have a pub style table. I do not know if it is an antique or not, but any solid wood piece of furniture that is in reasonable condition usually is worth restoring vs. the cost of replacement with a new piece of equal quality. Most table and case good being produced today have particle board or plywood as secondary "wood" and are not nearly as good as the solid pieces.
