I have been replacing these tires with black rubber bunji cord, (found at the hardware store) held together with super glue, the joint when properly positioned is almost invesible. Cut the cord with a utility knife using a brand new blade, make sure the surface is a stright cleen cut, test it first and when you have it down, make them a little tight for a snug fit. You will find they are amazingly strong.
