Restoring Chinese Teak

I have several pieces of teak furniture, as well as carved teak art pieces, which are in need of cleaning and restoration. They are approximately 70 years old (though possibly older)and were acquired by my grandparents in China in the mid 1930's. I had an apartment fire which caused heavy smoke/soot damage (from burning plastic). All of the teak items had been cleaned and oiled about 5 months before the fire. What techniques should I use for their restoration? Thanks!
