If what you used is super glue that is a cyanoacraylate glue, known as CA glue. The most recent Fine Woodworking magazine on the subject detailed that glue to have "no known solvent". Therefore I do not recommend it for doll restoration, epoxy does have a solvent and that is why I would use epoxy for delicate work. MEK is very flamible and should be used very cautiously, it will also remove paint and dissolve artificial hair. Methanol is not harmful to those substances,but test every thing. Proceed with caution and keep us posted as to your results, good luck, James.
