If the blush is fresh it may fade, when placed in the sun for a short while, but if it persists try a little lemon oil furniture cleaner. Also cigar ash and paint thinner can be used in moderation as a mild polish, which has been known to work. I can pull a blush from shellac with a cotton rag very lightly dampened with denatured alcohol. Place a dry rag over the blush, lay the rag with the alcohol in it over the first rag. Allow these to sit for five minutes, (be careful not to get the alcohol on the finish) remove and allow the finish to reharden. Wax the top for protection, hope that works, Jim
