In Response To: cleaning deer antler and old bottle crud (mal)

Mal ,To clean the bottle and get out the lime / calcium deposits try "C.L.R." or "THE WORKS" .Both should be available at Wal-Mart or K-Mart etc. These are both liquids that are easy to apply or pour , and will rinse out with tap water. Some of the bottle was probably "etched" by natural processes and will never be perfect again.unless a coating of clear glaze makes it seem to disappear. Good Luck ,Let me know how it worked out. P.S. I don't suggest you use those products on the antlers as they may "eat" the outer surface.
