Color matching is a process of trial and error. You need to get several different colors of stains that are in the range of what you are trying to match then work with small measured quantities of them to find a match. The color that you see when the stain is wet will be very close to the color once it is dry and a finish is applied. Once you get close then you can finish buildeing the color with spray toners which are lacquer with color in them. Toners are available thru Wood Workers Supply which is on line.
