glass repair

I had some old (but somewhat thick) glass copper wheel engraved. I was attempting to replace a broken glass panel in a victorian pocket door with 11 such panels. but the result has a blue tint to it, especially in the hand-rubbed field. Is there a way to make the glass more clear, less blue-y. it just doesn't marry well with the other pieces.
