Hello All, I've just purchased two Edwardian High-backed chairs at auction. They have barley-twist bars up the back, 2 either sire if 3 upright carved pieces of wood. Barley-twist front legs & stretcher bars beneath the seat which is rush. I would like to clean the rush seats but am unsure how to go about this. I don't think it's too big a job, I'm sure Ive read just gently scrub with a mild detergent then rinse. Because rush is a natural product, by wetting it it probably make them tighten up a bit. Any advice, woulod be greatly apprecaited.

Thanks

Ange
