I'm sure glad you haven't gone after these tables with Kutzit. While it is a good stripper it will take the gole tooling right along with the finish. I have had the best results cleaning pieces like this with denatured alcohol. Start with a 12" square or soft cotton knit fold into a 3X4" sgaure then roll, dip in alcohol and squeeze until it no longer drips. Start wiping the furniture with a circular motion you will see old finish dirt etc accumulating on the rag. Frequently turn the rag to a clean surface. If you feel the finish dragging move to a fres spot. Start with the base and work there until you get the feel of the removal then work up to the top. Once it is cleaned as far as you want it then coat the tables with clear lacquer. Try not to get a heavy build up of lacquer on the leather one or two coats is enough to seal it.
