In Response To: Taking A Brass Bed Apart (Susan Burnett)

Moxt brass beds are held together with bolts or screws sometimes visible on the out side and sometimes on the inside of the posts. If you have removed the end caps and only see the levers all I can suggest is to make a tool which will reach them. Most of the time it is easier to work with a brass bed if it is dissasembled. If you get it apart be sure to tag the parts by number which refers to a numbered drawing or picture.
