In Response To: 50+ year old china cabinet (Matt Tokarz)

Try Van Dykes at: VanDykes.com for the replacement parts you need. Soap a water is the best cleaner to use. Use mild soap do not soak it just dampen the picec rinse and wipe dry. Once you have it clean a good coat of paste wax will help protect it and provide a soft luster. Don't worry about destrouying the historical value of the piece it is not nearly in the class of piece that cleanig and or refinishing will cause a loss.
