Hinge

Hello, I have a armoire from the 1890's. It has a lovely hinge made from pig iron i believe. One of the hinges has cracked making it inoperable. I am told that pig iron can not be welded which is the only solution i can think of, unless you can suggest an epoxy that might do the trick.

I was wondering if you or someone you know could fix it or suggest a way to fix it.

Thank you. atilla
