ANTIQUE FURNITURE RESTORATION DISCUSSION BOARD

cleaning Duncan Phyfe furniture

I have a Duncan Phyfe dining room table, 4 chairs and a buffet. I have been told they were purchased in the 1920's. The furniture belonged to my husbands grandmother and then was given to his dad. I would like to find out how to clean and refinish these pieces. The table has water stains and what looks like a burn mark, possibly where a hot pot had been placed on the table. I would appreciate any help that I could get on this. Thanks in advance!
