i have recently come into possession of an old upright spindel-back chair that my grandfather owned for as many years as i've been alive until his death in '72. my dad had it from then until this past weekend when he gave it to me. it has a paper label on it's underside from the Sheboygan Chair Company, Sheboygan WI... and the number 141 stamped on that label. it is still a very sturdy chair, but has a lot of scars and surface damage. i don't care to sell it, but wonder does it have any potential value? more, though, i wonder of its age and origins. was this a major company? etc. I could send you a photo of it if necessary. thanks doug
