I cannot believe that even a complete strip and refinish would take even half the amount of hours you have paid for...somethings rotten here..any competent refinisher would be able to strip,prep, and apply a typical stain, glazed, topcoated, rubbed out, paste waxed finish that would simulate a patinated antique finish for far fewer hours than what you paid for..I would be pissed...what could have taken 48hours??????? a fresh lacquered finish should strip really easily...a couple of hours at the most...this guy ripped you off and I would be livid!
