Hi Kathy, and all. I came across this message board searching for info on Trogdon furniture. I recently recieved my Grandmother's dining set(table, side board, and hutch). The table in my case has a pop up leaf that unfolds, once up. As for finishing; one person comes to mind, My uncle. He's a 5th generation refinisher; at 61yrs that's a lot of knowledge. Problems: he's in Oregon, this may to small a job, and he's not cheap. He normally does entire rooms. He will, however get the exact color/finish you want. They tell me, his father my Grandfather, could fix a Chippendale table top, with chucks out of it, so you could never see the repair. He would match the grain of a veneer to the table, inlay it, and then use pigments, and finishes with a paint brush to match it perfectly. My Uncle has this knowledge, as well. Give me a yell, for more info. I guess I should talk to him myself.
