In Response To: Help! I ruined my antique table. (Lindy)

I only ruined the surface of the table, so if I have to resurface, I only have to do the table top. Please advise as to the best procedure. I just went in and carefully applied Restore-A-Finish and it looked great until it dried - once it dried, you could see cracks and crackle in the finish plus splotches and swirls (that came from a previous owner). Strangely, you could not see the splotches and swirls until I did what I did to the table. Also, the finish looks dull. Thanks again.
