Need help with Heywood wakefield restoration

My wife and I have bought a few pieces of Heywood wakefield furniture that we would like to restore. Ideally we would love to have it professionally done, but we can't afford that, so we will do it ourselves. I tried to order the DVD that was once offered online, but the check was returned I guess it is no longer available.

SOOO...I saw that there is a formula for the champaigne finish on this site. I have a couple other questions.

What is the best way to strip the furniture with sandpaper or chemical stripper? If chemical which do you recommend? For the sanding before refinish, should I use a palm sander or hand sand? Where do I get the colorants to mix the stain? What is the the best aerisol can to use to do the final finish? (we don't have spray equip)

Thanks in advance, and if anyone has the DVD for restoration let me know!!
